With the six-month MOT deferral now over, workshops and motor factors need to prepare themselves for the high demand that is there now and will continue into the first quarter of 2021.

For factors, now is the time to check that their stock levels are ready and they are prepared to cope with this increased demand, particularly for the parts that are regular MOT failures, such as Steering & Suspension components. With more than 8,500 references, the Steering & Suspension programme, offered by First Line and Borg & Beck, is one of the largest and most trusted in the aftermarket.

For technicians, First Line Ltd’s full range consists of premium quality products that are relied upon for an efficient and accurate fit. Plus, with all Ball Joints, Link Bars and Suspension Arms, where applicable, being supplied with the necessary fitting components as standard, technicians can also be sure of a hassle-free efficient installation.

In addition, the company's full product portfolio consists of more than 40,000 references, across 60+ different product lines, providing comprehensive coverage of the entire vehicle parc, for Passenger Car, LCV and Commercial Vehicle.

First Line Ltd’s Global Marketing Director, Jon Roughley, said: “When the coronavirus outbreak first happened, workshops had a vital role to play to repair the cars that were relied on, not only by designated key workers such as NHS staff, grocery shop personnel and delivery drivers, but also for those whose jobs didn’t allow them to work from home.

“Now, with more and more people back on the road and the MOT extension period over, workshops and factors are working even harder to keep up with demand. We’ve been here for our customers throughout the entire pandemic, and will continue to do so, providing excellent levels of availability across our extensive product lines, and supporting our distributors via our dedicated sales and customer service teams.”
