Enhanced Component Specification To Increase Longevity

First Line’s heavy duty stabiliser links fill a significant gap in the market, as their specification is enhanced over the original item to ensure greater longevity and superior performance.

Working closely with its manufacturing partners, First Line regularly identifies applications that may need to cope with the demands of a more gruelling environment, meaning it’s crucial for them to be of enhanced quality. First Line has focused particularly on off-road vehicles, as well as light commercial vehicles; however, cars that are used for higher mileages, such as taxis and courtesy cars, have also been addressed with its heavy duty link bar range.

What’s the difference?

The specifics of what differentiates the HD component over the standard part include a higher specification DuPont™ Delrin® plastic bearing (500p verses 100p), an increased ball pin base diameter and a larger bar diameter. Therefore, the HD range possesses a plastic bearing with a higher tensile strength and is subsequently less prone to fatigue, a ball pin with superior push and pull values and a more rigid bar. The final outcome is a substantially more robust product that is of higher quality than the original equipment components, so providing a service life of up to three times longer than the vehicle’s standard stabiliser link.

The comprehensive HD range consists of more than 65 upgraded references for applications such as the Vauxhall Combo MK II, Peugoet 206, Fiat 500, Ford Transit Box, Audi A4 Avant, Mercedes Vito Box, Vauxhall Vivaro Combi, Renault Master III and many more.

Naturally, these components come with a two year/24,000 mile warranty for complete peace of mind.
