We would like to issue a short update with regards First Line Ltd and our business operations within this current time of adversity. First and foremost our business is open as usual, receiving orders and shipping products to our global customer base.

The Board of Directors are in daily contact to keep abreast of the developing situation and action advice received from our governing bodies, some of which we felt prudent to detail below: -

• Our International Sales Team have been asked to work from their home offices for the foreseeable future. They are all contactable by email, phone or video conference and now is probably the best time to take advantage of their analytical abilities when looking for the most efficient way to operate your business with our wide portfolio of over 40,000 part number references

• Back up remote links for our Customer Services and Technical help lines have been tested should we need to divert the many calls received each day to a wider staff base, ensuring our telephone lines will always remain open to help our many customers. To this end we would also encourage our customers who do not already use electronic ordering to adopt this method, this not only reduces the pressures on our customer services help line but increases productivity and ordering accuracy. • A rotation procedure has been implemented for the Directors of the business to limit their time together and in the office. All Directors remain in contact with each other throughout the day and evening ensuring decisions that need to be made are actioned quickly and effectively

• A significant IT investment has been made to allow those office workers who are able to work from home can and for those employees with critical pre existing health conditions to continue delivering first grade work from a safer environment

• We have encouraged social distancing within the business, but crucially within our warehouse distribution centre. This is in addition to a staggered break system and scheduled cleaning of the building throughout the day.

• The warehouse continues to operate at optimum performance ensuring our customers receive above 96% order fill, a service you have become accustomed to
