More options for First Line online

New Multi-Lingual

First Line's ultra successful website has undergone a further transformation with the launch of two foreign language editions, to respond to the demand for information about the company coming from Europe.

Following the launch of the heavily revised site in February last year, traffic to the site from members of the aftermarket outside the UK exploded and the decision to launch both French and Spanish language versions has come as a direct result of this overseas expansion.

Naturally, French and Spanish visitors can learn more about the company's history, its plans for expansion and the progress towards its forthcoming move into a purpose built new facility. However, the principal reason behind most visits will be able to find out more about the matching original equipment (OE) products in the First Line and Borg & Beck ranges.

The First Line product line encompasses boots & gaiters, braking, cables, cooling, fuel pumps, hydraulics, mountings & bushes, steering & suspension and wheel bearings. Alongside First Line, the company offers the Borg & Beck range of clutch systems and its recently launched braking programme.

Each product group is detailed with its own dedicated page, which highlights the key features of the programme and provides an indication of the depth of application references in the range.

Users that register to the site can gain further access and visit the 'Toolbox' and 'Webcat' areas, which will allow them to access technical data and its electronic parts catalogue system respectively.

Although these two sections will initially remain in English, users will find the Toolbox particularly useful as it provides installers with regular technical tips and the latest technical bulletins and visitors to the Webcat wiil find all the cataloguing information they will need in a clear and uncomplicated format, which reflects its position as a certified data provider to TecDoc.

James Hall, First Line's marketing coordinator said: "We continue to be both encouraged and surprised by the level of traffic to the site from visitors from outside the UK, so to include additional material onto the site written in their language seems a great way to respond to their obvious interest in First Line.

"Although the site attracts many visitors form across the globe, the French and Spanish markets represent the largest non-English speaking communities, so these two languages were the natural choice to expand the site with. However, if the interest continues to grow, I am sure they will not be the last"
