April 2011Another Recruit For The Growing Braking Programme Leading parts specialist First Line continues to expand its braking programme with the addition of experienced parts man, Peter Molesworth. Peter is another seasoned professional with the aftermarket in his blood. A self-confessed car enthusiast, Peter has been in the trade all his life, starting his career on the franchised dealer side of the market with Rover. Working in the parts department during the 70's and 80's, he obviously got to know one of the major aftermarket brands very well as it made up the majority of the parts crossing the counter! In 1996 Peter moved into the independent sector when he joined Quinton Hazell as a product analyst for the clutch programme, before adding water pumps to his portfolio three years into his tenure. Peter joins a former QH colleague Len Finlay on First Line's rapidly expanding braking programme. As the product planner for braking, he will ensure that the vitally important behind the scenes work on application references and cross-referencing is kept up to First Line's demanding standards. Peter will also work closely with Len on product development. Dan Joyner, First Line's Managing Director said: "Peter is a valuable addition to the team and will give Len the support he needs as we press ahead with our exciting plans for the braking programme. At First Line we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and the service we give to our customers, and in Peter we have a professional who will ensure we maintain these standards." Commenting on his appointment Peter said: "Joining First Line is a great opportunity for me and I'm delighted to be working alongside several colleagues I've work with previously, but in an environment that is upbeat and looking forward to an exciting future." |
