Ian Boyle Joins The Team
First Line has appointed ex-Quinton Hazell man Ian Boyle to the position of national accounts manager, to work with its BDM team and develop the company's business with the buying groups and other major customers.

Ian is a man with a passion for all things automotive and from an early age he's been an avid reader of each and every motoring magazine he could get his hands on. This enthusiasm gave him the opportunity to turn a hobby into a career when he got a job at Halfords, were he gained his first taste of the aftermarket.

However, Ian was not content to just dabble at the retail end, but wanted to get closer to the nuts and bolts of the industry and so he embarked of a 12-year career with QH, where he specialised in steering & suspension and latterly, belts and belt kits.

First Line's general sales manager, Terry Fisher said: "We have been looking for the right candidate to fulfil a national account management role for sometime and in Ian we believe we have found someone with the right combination of experience, energy and leadership. We are convinced that he is the ideal guy to work with our existing team of business development managers and grow the level of First Line business done with our major customers."

"Although it's been a real whirlwind since coming on board," said Ian, "it's great to join a business where so much is happening and it's very exciting to be part of a growing business."

"During my first week we had a our sales conference at the Castle Combe racing circuit and although there was a lot to take in and get up to speed with, I have to admit to being a little jealous of guys from Fifth Gear who were fooling round and burning rubber while filming their next series!"
